Owner Jerry Arenas

As the story goes, Jerry Arenas began cooking as soon as "he was tall enough to see above the cook's line."  His life in steaks began at the Rafters in Milwaukee at the age of 13.  In 1982, Jerry, along with wife Marie, bought the former Black Steer and renamed it the Steakhouse 100.  A few years later, in 1987, they purchased Dietzel's Alpen Haus on the south side of Milwaukee and converted it to a steakhouse in 1991.  In December of 2005, the Arenas's bought the Cobblestone and opened it as Palmer's Steakhouse on June 5th, 2006.  To this day, Jerry is still on the grill cooking steaks and has cooked over 1 million steaks in his lifetime.
